Six glasses. Six Scottish landmarks. Glass made in France, decorated in Great Britain — and every one of them worth looking at twice.

This is a complete set of six vintage souvenir shot glasses, each depicting a different Scottish landmark in bright hand-painted enamel with gold rims: Blacksmith's Shop–Gretna Green, Burns' Cottage, Edinburgh Castle, Forth Bridge, Loch Lomond, and Scott Monument. The bases are crimped or pleated glass — an unusual detail that gives them a distinctly high-end finish. Embossed "Made in France" on the bottom; decorated in Great Britain. Circa 1950s. One set available.

Some gold rim wear on a few glasses — expected for their age. The Forth Bridge glass is missing the "i" in "Bridge" — noted, photographed, and priced accordingly. No chips or cracks on any piece. At 2.25 inches tall, these double beautifully as beer flight / sampler glasses.

A lovely set for a Scotland enthusiast, a travel memorabilia collector, a bar cart with a sense of place, or anyone who appreciates the particular charm of mid-century souvenir glass at its best.
